Every Summer we have the Comedytrain International Summer Festival, where some of the best international comedians will perform in comedy club Toomler. In their native countries, they sell out major venues, but nothing can compete with watching them perform in the intimate atmosphere of an authentic comedy club. Last summer Arj Baker, Glenn Wool, Keith Farnan, Dwight Slade, Phil Nichol, Tony Law honored Toomler with a visit, amongst many others.

26 June – 29 June Todd Glass (USA) and Daniel Kinno (USA)
In the person of Todd Glass we’re flying in a true comedy veteran. We trust his judgment up to the point that we have asked him to introduce his favorite American talent in Amsterdam. That talent is named Daniel Kinno. In Glass’ eyes one of the biggest talents of the moment. We can’t wait to see this. The ideal kick off for our festival!
3 July - 6 July Ali Wong (USA) and Yannis Pappas (USA)
In the week of the Fourth of July, we found two brilliant Americans willing to join us. They’ve both scored major points during the past two editions of the Champions League of comedy: the Montreal Just for Laughs Festival. At this moment they’re up and coming on stage and on tv in the U.S., so we’re thrilled to have them over.
10 July – 13 July Glenn Wool (Canada) en Paul Myrehaug (Canada)
Glenn Wool and Paul Myrehaug are here to present us with a Canadian week. Glenn is an absolute regular in Toomler and knows the club and its audience as the back of his hand. He was broadcasted in Holland in the series ‘Comedytrain presents…’ He’s bringing a brand new show and we only need one reason to invite him: he was available.
17 July - 20 July David Quirk (Australia) and Felicity Ward (Australia)
Our Australian week is brought to you by David Quirk and Felicity Ward. Both won several awards in their own country this year (Perth Comedy Festival and Melbourne festival, amongst others) and both decided this year to spread their wings and go international. The perfect moment for us to haul them over here. Maybe in a few years Murth Mossel will be telling the story of how he met world famous David Quirk in our own humble comedy club
24 July - 27 July Dave Fulton (USA) and Paul F Taylor (GB)
Dave Fulton is holds the record of most Toomler appearances of any international comedian. He hardly needs recommendation: if he wasn’t critically acclaimed by audience and us, comedians, we would have never booked him again and again. He’s just that good. This week his support act will be Paul F Taylor, winner of the New Act of the Year 2013 award.
